My name is Finessa Bedoun and I’m a professional photographer and journalism student at Wayne State University. My experience includes shooting weddings, company events, high school seniors, commercial work, engagements, maternity, family, newborns and parties.
I have had a passion for writing since I was a child and was the Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper, writing editorials, features and hard-news stories. My internships include El Central, a Hispanic publication in Southwest Detroit, where I was responsible for researching and submitting story ideas.
I also interned at Downtowndetroitalive.com, an online publication, where I attended various events, interviewed specific people and submitted the quotes to my editor. I also interned at Inabooth Photography, a photobooth company, where I was in charge of operating the booth.
I have written for The South End, Wayne State University’s newspaper and on my personal lifestyle blog, where I write about health, fitness and cooking.
I am a print major with a focus on obtaining a job that combines my photography experience with my love for writing. This blog will focus on student life, photography, health, fitness, cooking and life in general. I can be reached at:
